My oldest daughter is off to grad school this week. In preparation, I gave her a sampler of spices. I saw these teeny bottles at Michael's intended for beads. Just the right size for about a tbsp of spices. Spices consumed in large qty will be purchased , but those used infrequently and in small amt can be sampled. As . She uses them up she can start building her own spice pantry. The second bonus is how cute and how little space they occupy!

Miles' graduation
My nephew graduated from USF's engineering program this year. It was bittersweet, as his father could not be there to see him. I created this card for him, using My silhouette to cut echo park's crane,
The hat is from Jolee's boutique
Inside, I made a pop-up arm that throws the grad cap, leaving the yellow hard hat behind. The sentiment is a stamp from Hobby Lobby, the owl punch is Stampin' up.
He loved it :)

Some masculine "love" cards
I have been working on some "guy cards" for love themes. This is what I have come up with so far:
This is a side-step card based on a tool box theme. The tools were die cut from a set from Memory Box. I cut them in silver foil card, then in yellow to overlay the handles. The sentiments are from Recollections, I think. It was a clear stamp set that I got from Michael's on a 50% off deal (Yay!)
The card stock is Gina K Pure Luxury Cranberry Tart, and white. The Ink is Gina K Black Onyx.
This one uses a cardboard diecut from Michael's $1 bin. I attached it to a three step easel card.
The card base is dark sage from Gina K Designs. I stamped the image in versamark and embossed in clear. The images are from Stampscapes.
The sentiment is from Gina k Designs, stamped in Rich Cocoa from Memento
After I made it, I realized that it reminds me of the Petronus scene from Harry Potter- and the sentiment is Snape's, LOL.

Love potion
I made this card in preparation for Valentine's Day, using some bottles from silhouette. I created the labels Using my printer, and distressed the edges. The sentiment is from Gina K "Baked with Love" set, and went well with the theme. I used pearl stickers, a spellbinders die, and some heart stickers from my stash.

Simple Gifts
It has been a tragic year for our family, and yet our faith stands firm. My brother loved the holidays and was the first to put out his lights. We had many years of happy holidays and intend to keep that tradition, remembering the many joys. Here he holds a "Santa" Grinch that I made for him years ago (before such items were available. It was his favorite Christmas movie. May we all remember the true spirit of Christmas and carry it in our hearts this season.
This year's card is simple, but I think appropriate. Happy and Joyous holidays to us all! The Image is from Stampendous, and is called "Wisemen". I inked with versamark andheat embosed with metallic bronze powder from Judikins. It is stamped on recollections cardstock. I used Ribbon from Michael's and mounted it on gold cards from Recollections. I added stickles in burgundy, dark blue , and Christmas Green to their crowns.

A very Merry Doctors Christmas Card
I have a nephew whose family is terribly "Whovian". They will get this card for Christmas this year. Too much work for mass production, but good for a one-off. Since they are also "Grinchian", it seemed a good fit.
The images of Dr Seuss were pulled offline and printed on glossy photo paper,
The tardis is a cut file that I made. The wreath is a shrinky dink of a memory box wreath stamp that I had.
I suspect that they will love it, and will laugh. We all need one this year.
